The company cited yearly increases in fees from content partners as the main cause for the price hike. Even at $25, the streaming service remains one of the competitive offerings out there, with the next step up in price being SlingTV at $35.
Philo offers content ranging from reality TV to food-related content from Food Network and Tastemade. There are movies, original series, and much more. Starting your subscription before the price hike will lock your savings in for the duration of your subscription unless you choose to upgrade for the extra DVR storage.
