It’s not just you — Spotify is down for some users

Spotify is currently having some difficulties, with reports coming in that it isn’t currently working for some users. It seems the first reports started around 2:15 PM ET.
Complaints via Down Detector indicate that the mobile apps are the main problem areas right now, though at least a few desktop-related issues have also been reported. Pages appear to be loading much slower than normal, although some report eventually getting music to play after a long wait.
Hopefully, the shortage won’t last much longer, but we’ll update this page as we learn more.
